Summer Game Night with My Squad

Thank you Deer Lord! for sponsoring this post. Grab your new edition of Deer Lord! social party game, available through Target retail stores starting July 30.

It’s no mystery around here that game night is my favorite night of the week.

There’s something thrilling and nostalgic about getting together with a group of your friends to play games. It ignites a carefree vibe among even the most business-minded friends in my squad. Getting the whole squad over to dupe it out with hilarious prompts is a cherry on top of the already super dope cake.

The other night (okay it was a midsummer’s afternoon if we’re being real) I got together with a few of my friends to play the new social party game, Deer Lord! by Lark and Clam.

Deer Lord! is a Social Party Game where players challenge each other to wacky “Duels,” and also attempt to “Dupe” each other by secretly getting away with outrageous social actions unnoticed. This combination of overt battles of wits and sneaky subterfuge creates an utterly unique gaming experience that has taken early adopting Party Game fans by storm.

I have to say that one of the squad favorites of the game is that you can dupe everyone playing. It’s a hilarious challenge to see if you can pull one over on everybody. My particular favorite is that I’m so weird as it is, that my dupes kept going entirely undetected. Hooray for weirdos!

Deer Lord! flourished as an independent game and is now broadly available through two simultaneous revised and updated editions, available through Target retail stores as of July 30. This run of the game is comprised of core Deer Lord! card set as well as the “Broadway” and “Gangsta” expansion sets. This is the game we played at our game night and between the gangsta deer design and the dupes of the same theme, I highly recommend adding this version of the game to your collection.
