I’ve partnered with my friends at Life is Good to share this post with you.
Gift giving is my love language. If you’ve known me closely in any capacity, you know that this is truer than true.
With the year I’ve had personally, and the current state of the world it seems, optimism and positive thinking are small, yet powerful, things we can all do to reshape our impact. I’m not saying that this puts us in a state of bliss, oblivious to the weight of things. It does make us stronger still to carry them though.
It’s important for me to instill this positivity and optimism in my eight-year-old. He’s the one who will grow up to live in the world that we set into motion for him now. And while we’ve been fortunate enough to provide for our own needs, that’s not the case for all children.
Cue, Life is Good + Build-A-Bear Workshop partnering to donate to The Boys and Girls Club of America and The Boys and Girls Club of Canada through the Life is Good Foundation with their latest line of goodies, available in-store and online. The adorable Life is Good Build-A-Bear furry friend ($25) you can accessorize with t-shirts ($7), caps ($6) and a wristie ($3) is too much to handle. He’ll likely become your child’s new best friend. You’ll be sad about it for a minute, but once you see how smooshy-smoosh they are together, it will all melt away in the puddle that once was you as a parent.
In addition to the furry friend, your child can also match their new pal! Life is Good Kids T-Shirts ($18) are available in the line as well. They’re buttery soft and spread that optimism out into the world with a simple smile.
