Olympus PEN Ready Project

**This post is sponsored by Olympus. All opinions and the decision to share this project with you are my own. Enjoy.

Over one thousand average, everyday people in six of the country’s states were given the new Olympus PEN E-PM1 to share with the world the “Pack Small. Shoot Big.” capabilities of Olympus’ newest member of the PEN family. It is light and airy and produces some pretty exquisite shots…even for the photographically impaired. Like yours truly.

From art to portraits, family to landscapes, not being a camera recipient has done nothing to stop me from developing an unhealthy fascination with the beauty that this line of camera produces.

This particular shot of The Black Angels performing in Brazil is especially reminiscent for me. Not very many are fortunate enough to experience this view first hand. The adrenaline pumping, nerves twisting, endorphins flowing moment of stepping on stage in front of throngs of humans there to share in your talents. Being one, in a former life of mine, that was able to experience this moment, I can tell you that the moment is exquisitely captured in every last square pixel of this shot.

I highly suggest letting yourself get lost for a few hours in the project’s gallery to find some of your blow-me-away favorites.

Get a little bit more cozy with the project itself by taking a peek at this video about it all.
