Voicemail Magic: Kelly from Everyday Childhood
It’s true what they say about me: I always have my Crackberry on me.
What’s pseudo true is the fact that most of the time everytime sometimes I cannot be bothered with a phone call. Mostly I think they say I don’t ever answer because they miss the soothing sound of my crackly, pre-pubescent, Nancy Boy voice…
Kelly is familiar with my pretendency to not ever answer my phone. But, to be fair, Kelly also calls at some pretty inopportune times. Times when I’m “dropping off pastrami babies” or wrangling Nugget or “showering”.
She’s so in touch with my voicemail that she has become creative with her style of messaging. (read: song)
