PF Chang's Recap

Steve has been working so hard these past 18 weeks to train for the PF Chang's Rock'n'Roll Marathon that took place in Phoenix/Tempe on Sunday, January 18th. Steve finished his first ever full marathon (26.2 miles for those of you who don't know how long a full marathon is) in 4 hours and 27 minutes. I'm SO proud of him!! Below are some pictures from the days events.
We all took the new light rail from the end in Mesa to Tempe which was probably the smartest thing in the world for us to do. Traffic was mayhem and all of the pedestrians would have given me an anxiety attack. Above is Dylan with my mom and dad in a cute little shirt I made him the night before with Daddy's bib number on it. Below is the back of Dylan's little shirt. It's supposed to be like See Spot Run. Haha! I'm lame...

Cutest family ever right?! I have more chins than a Chinese phone book and Steve looks like he suffers from some sort of mental disorder and Dylan just looks confused...like always. :)
I have to give mad props to my little sis Valeri. Even though she wasn't using her high tech, expensive camera, she managed to capture the GREATEST fam photo ever. How adorable is that smile?!
Someone had a rough time being carted around and carried on Grandpa's shoulders. He needed some Cytomax to re-hydrate.
At Sluggo's afterward for a celebratory lunch with the family. I'm so incredibly proud of him. He's inspired me to start training to take on Detroit in October. Woo!
My boys, pooped from a long day. Steve's sunburnt face and forced smile and Dylan's "Mom! Put the dumb camera away!" look. Priceless.

The shirt you made Dylan is so cute. You are such a good mom.

And you look skinny.
